Fall'in

Fall is just around the corner...Regardless that the city of Los Angeles is known for it's seasonal subtlety, and those around the country need these jewel toned velvets and chunky knits we, in LA, can still transform our wardrobes, in our perfect 72degree weather

Here is a look at what to expect this coming season [in terms of fashion] we can't predict your love life...
Hints or full body suits of lace, neutrals, oversized knits styled with belts, splashes of brights or animal prints are also key for a smooth transition from summer to fall.

ikat get no satisfaction

FYI- Ikat, or Ikkat is the method of weaving that uses a resistant dyeing process--real similar to tie-dye on fibers.

The dye is applied prior to the threads being woven to create the final fabric pattern or design.

Between Dries Van Noten's Spring 2010 collection, Gucci's Spring 2010 incredible ikat inspired numbers and a plethora of vintage pieces we've scored- we're loving this trend. The Central Asia silk dyeing technique has taken off and you can bet that once WWW.SHOPNATIVELA.COM launches- we will be carrying plenty of this awesome unique look.
