We celebrated at Bar Lubitsch on Santa Monica Blvd complete with Jerrys Famous Deli catering, Team Easy DJing, nativeLA cookies and gift tote bags for all who came! Pamela Love the Brooklyn based jewelery maker, is all sorts of cool. But, I think you already knew that.
Besides the fact that she collaborated with HBO's True Blood and Where the Wild Things are, and did the accessories for Yigal Azrouel's runway AW10-her shit's just RAD.

FYI- Ikat, or Ikkat is the method of weaving that uses a resistant dyeing process--real similar to tie-dye on fibers.

The dye is applied prior to the threads being woven to create the final fabric pattern or design.

Between Dries Van Noten's Spring 2010 collection, Gucci's Spring 2010 incredible ikat inspired numbers and a plethora of vintage pieces we've scored- we're loving this trend.
